交響曲

2008年1月，莎拉發行了她自《harem》以來的第一張新錄音室專輯——略帶哥特風格的《真愛傳奇/交響曲》“Symphony”，專輯主打曲《Fleurs du Mal》（惡之花）以帶一點懸疑的管風琴，哥特搖滾磅薄氣勢拉開整張專輯的序幕，同名歌《Symphony》（交響曲）翻唱自德國Silbermond樂隊《Verschwende Deine Zeit》專輯中的《Symphonie》，是該專輯主打情歌；《Canto Della Terra》（大地之歌）是與跨界男高音Andrea Bocelli（安德烈波切利） 等待十年的再度合作；《Sanvean》（我是你的陰影）翻唱自暗潮團體Dead Can Dance的《Sanvean（I'm Your Shadow）》；《I Will Be With You（Where The Lost Ones Go）》（我將與你同在）翻唱自挪威女歌手Sissel Kyrkjebo（西索）的同名曲，是口袋妖怪10週年動畫劇場版電影的主題片尾曲，在發行的單曲版本和維也納斯蒂芬大教堂個人演唱會里是與 Chris Thompson （克里斯湯普森）合作的，而在本專輯是與 Kiss 的主唱Paul Stanley重新錄製了一個版本；《Schwere Tr?ume》（沉重的夢）改編自奧地利作曲家和指揮家 Mahler 的作品；《Sarai Qui》（你定會在那裏）翻唱自 Faith Hill 演唱的電影《珍珠港》主題曲《There You'll Be》，與意大利男高音Alessandro Safina（亞歷山大沙費納）用意大利語合唱，比原曲更加大氣磅礴；《Storia D'amore》（愛的故事）是一首古典作品，貌似來自意大利的同名電影；《Let It Rain》（下雨吧）是原創的都市格調情歌；《Attesa》（期待）則是一首從 Pietro Mascagni 的《Cavalleria Rusticana》中得到靈感重新創作的古典作品；再次體現莎拉高音領域的繁榮。《Pasión》源自墨西哥電視劇《Pasión》的主題曲，一首西班牙語情歌，與天籟變聲男高音 Fernando Lima 合作演繹；《Running》這個單曲改編自霍斯特的《The Planets》（行星組曲中的”木星“組曲，這首歌與多年前的《A question of honour》有相似之處，是莎拉首創的曲風。）

在這張讓人等待五年之久的專輯中，莎拉的聲線始終還是如此出類拔萃，除了讚歎，唯有傾聽！該專輯也創造了莎拉發行專輯在Billboard 200榜單中的最高名次——第13位，其同名巡演也在2008年十一月於墨西哥展開，此次巡演在北美地區的總票房超過了1000萬美元，成為了2008年度北美地區最成功的巡演之一，此次巡演在 2009年2月至4月轉赴東亞地區，中國大陸的巡演城市包括北京、南京、上海和廣州，香港與台北也是此次的巡演城市。那次巡演無論是從燈光舞美，還是莎拉的表現，無疑成為觀眾們一生中難忘的回憶，奇特的鏡面反射舞台讓人隨時都準備驚呼！但唯一遺憾的是，這場世界巡演並沒出版任何發行物，官方稱當時因為舞台設計和曲目安排特技等拍不出來舞台的效果。
