NO創作背景

《NO》的創作靈感來自史詩唱片公司的高管L.A. Reid對梅根·特瑞娜所説的一句“No”。當梅根·特瑞娜與L.A. Reid聊天時她對L.A. Reid自信滿滿地表示已經完成專輯，然而L.A. Reid卻對她説了一句“不”，表示梅根·特瑞娜缺少一首像樣的主打單曲。而後，梅根·特瑞娜非常生氣地、像看瘋子一樣看着L.A. Reid，於是便回到工作室對製作人説自己需要一首強大而又憤怒的聖歌。最後，他們花費七個多小時創作了《NO》^[3] 。
