新娘（烏瑪·瑟曼 Uma Thurman 飾）曾是暗殺組織中的一名成員，也是組織首腦比爾（大衞·卡拉丁 David Carradine 飾）的情人，金盆洗手後的她結識了一個單純的小夥子並準備忘掉過去與之結婚。沒想到，婚禮當天比爾突然出現，並帶領手下大開殺戒，霎時間，聖潔的教堂變成人間地獄。新娘頭部中彈昏迷4年，醒來後腦中首先想起的便是昏迷眼前的幾張殘酷的面孔，“黑曼巴”、“蝮蛇”、“百步蛇”、“加州山蛇”和比爾，他們是曾經的同僚和愛人，是如今的敵人。滿腔怒火的新娘要一一的找到她們，不問是非對錯，趕盡殺絕。 [1]
