根據《柯林斯英漢雙解大詞典 》：

PRON Thyself is an old-fashioned, poetic, or religious word for "yourself" when you are talking to only one person. 你本人; 你自己; 古語，現亦在詩歌或宗教語境內使用 ^[1] 

Make thyself as free as anyone else.

讓自己和任何人一樣自由。

Spare thyself discomfort, an' that is all that troubles thee.

不要讓自己難受，那就是使你煩惱的一切。
