《The Cure》最初是Gaga在2013年為她第三張錄音室專輯《ARTPOP》錄製的歌曲，最終並沒有收錄到專輯中。當初的製作人只有Gaga和DJ White Shadow。這首歌又在2017年被重新錄製，又找來了一羣新的製作人。

《The Cure》如名字所示，cure是漢語"治癒"或"治療"的意思，聽起來會讓負能量全部散退，整首歌的旋律輕快上口，歌詞又帶有一絲悲傷。而這首歌的曲風迴歸了Gaga在首張錄音室專輯《The Fame》的風格，靠攏電子，非常符合時下流行的樂曲風格。朗朗上口，又不失深度。

《The Cure》的官方歌詞音樂錄像帶已在2017年5月1日通過Youtube/Vevo上傳。

在美國，《The Cure》空降百強單曲榜#39，是Gaga第20首在此榜單中進入前40名的歌。這支單曲還憑藉約7.9萬份的首周銷量空降了數字單曲榜#3。在Mainstream電台首周也拿到了#39的好成績。次周，《The Cure》在百強單曲榜中下降至#62，但是在Mainstream電台上升了11位來到#28，也在成人流行榜空降#34。 ^[1]
