rockstar創作背景
《rockstar》的創作背景與波茲·馬龍的早年經歷有密切關係。成名之前，波茲·馬龍曾受遊戲《吉他英雄》的啓發立志成為一名吉他手，可惜在面試得克薩斯州當地樂隊Crown the Empire時吉他弦不幸斷了，失去了成為搖滾吉他手的機會。正是波茲·馬龍的搖滾愛好最終促成了《Rockstar》的誕生。波茲·馬龍在歌中引經據典，提及了邦·斯科特等多位搖滾藝人以及相關典故。歌詞中的“Rasta”是拉斯塔法教徒的意思，此處暗喻信奉拉斯塔法教的雷鬼藝人鮑勃·馬利。歌詞還有一處講述了大門樂隊主唱吉姆·莫里森1967年被捕的過程，“light a fire”則化用了大門樂隊1967年發行的專輯《Light My Fire》。“Montage”是一家豪華連鎖酒店，把電視從酒店窗户扔下樓則是搖滾藝人的標誌性舉動，相傳第一個這麼做的是滾石樂隊吉他手基思·理查茲。“I'm with the band”則是搖滾追星族出入後台常用的一句話
