《Raise Your Glass》的創作靈感來源於P!nk參加的一次朋友的婚禮，她的朋友是女同性戀，而同性戀婚姻不受法律保護，所以朋友的母親當場哭了，看到這一幕的P!nk感慨萬千，於是寫下了這首歌曲， ^[5]  這首歌就是為那些被社會冷落的小眾羣體而創作的，P!nk想通過該歌曲給那些羣體帶來巨大的能量。 ^[5]

《Raise Your Glass》有着意趣盎然的歌詞，如“Don't be fancy，Just get dancey”，聽起來有些愚蠢但朗朗上口、令人忍俊不禁；旋律簡單輕鬆，令人忍不住隨之搖擺，適合在人多的聚會上演唱；強烈的流行搖滾風格讓聽者一聽就能知道這是P!nk演唱、馬克斯·馬丁創作的歌曲，

《Raise Your Glass》的MV由戴夫·邁爾斯執導，於2010年10月4日拍攝，2010年11月2日在P!nk的官網上首播。其靈感也來源於P!nk參加一個朋友的婚禮的經歷。MV映射了性取向、性別歧視、種族歧視和動物權利等問題，出現了同性戀婚禮，P!nk給奶牛喂人奶等畫面。MV也致敬了P!nk的音樂生涯，其中滑板的一幕對應《There You Go》的MV，P!nk嗅她的腋下的一幕對應《Get the Party Started》的MV。 ^{[5]  [12]}
