這首歌原本是在John Denver和他的妻子感情破裂瀕臨離婚的時候寫給他妻子的歌曲，後來被西班牙歌王Placido Domingo（多明戈）收錄在1981年發行的同名專輯《Perhaps Love》中。這首歌也是多明戈專輯中一首John Denver獻聲的歌曲。這首歌曾經被多人翻唱過，而最著名的版本則要數Placido Domingo和John Denver合唱的版本，是美聲和流行的第一次握手。
