《man in the mirror》是由陳冠希親自制作的一首歌，同時也是他曾在休息沉澱時，因心情不佳而不斷看着鏡子中的自己，反覆在內心交戰追問“我是誰”的Edison，對他來説有太多的問號需要解答，因為連他都想要尋回真正的陳冠希，面對真實的自我而寫成的一首歌 ^[2]  。

在鏡中反映出的那個人 我看到的

那虛擬的影像 是不是就是我呢

是否真實的呈現出 我這個人呢

那張臉孔看起來像毒蛇猛獸 還是天使

還是介於兩者之間 兩者皆不是

有太多問題在我腦海中我需要檢查

《man in the mirror》這首歌詞曲都帶着現實味道，融入了搖滾抒情元素，整首歌體現出一種迷茫的感覺，讓聽眾不免聽着聽着就進入陳冠希兩個截然不同的世界：一個光鮮亮麗的他乘坐藍寶堅尼跑車，而另一個則充滿了遍地的垃圾及四處爬行的蟑螂，呈現出窮困潦倒的感覺，迷惘着究竟哪個才是最原始的自我 ^[2]  。

《man in the mirror》MV由導演楊龍澄執導，由於MV中所描寫的是現實與非現實生活中的Edison，在服裝上也有巧思，把兩套世界的衣服拆開縫成一件，一邊是窮困陳冠希的服裝，另一半則是光鮮陳冠希的服裝，這服裝上的巧思也讓Edison在拍攝現場玩的不亦樂乎，一直左轉右轉的用半邊身體跟工作人員講話。拍攝當時因為要詮釋兩種不同的心境，需要不斷轉換兩種服裝跟場景還有心情，導演的嚴格要求讓Edison一直重複變換兩種情緒，好在這演技的考驗對Edison而言並不困難，難的是在於因為服裝上的設定，還有特殊造型的轉換，苦了身邊所有工作人員 ^[4]  。
