xandria

Xandria樂隊於1994年在德國的比勒菲爾德成立。Xandria的音樂結合了交響金屬和輕電子音樂以及搖滾的元素。

在發行了一些Demo並且在一些MP3門户網站上取得巨大成功之後，Xandria於2003年發行了他們的第一張專輯Kill the Sun，該專輯在德國音樂排行榜上一度名列第98位。接下來的專輯，Ravenheart（2004）在榜單上停留了7周之久，最高曾達到第36位。2005年Xandria發行了自己的第三張專輯India，這張專輯在風格上更傾向於交響金屬。

Xandria從2006年12月14日開始錄製他們的第四張專輯，Salomé - The Seventh Veil，這張專輯最終於2007年5月25日發行。2008年4月30日，樂隊的原主唱Lisa Middelhauve因個人的原因離開了Xandria，她表示對樂隊主唱的位置感到不適。樂隊的第二任主唱Kerstin Bischof（又名Lakonia）因為曾和德國著名的力量金屬樂隊Axxis合作而出名，在參與了一些巡演後於2010年離隊。2010年12月19日，Xandria公開了他們的第三任主唱Manuela Kraller，第五張大碟Neverworld's End於2012年2月27日發行。

2013年10月25日，樂隊通過官網宣佈因Manuela Kraller追求不同的音樂道路將離開樂隊，新任主唱由來自荷蘭Ex Libris樂隊的Dianne van Giersbergen接任。後者10月28日第一次加入樂隊在馬德里的演出。2014年5月2日，Xandria發行第六張大碟Sacrificium。 ^[1]
