歌曲開頭的女聲由英國電子歌手伊莫金·希普演唱，採樣自伊莫金·希普2005年發表的歌曲《Hide And Seek》 ^[3]  。J·R·羅特姆負責了歌曲的音頻混合、歌曲製作等工作，另一位歌曲製作人是亞力山大·帕爾默 ^[4]  。該歌曲最初是讓牙買加歌手肖恩·金斯頓來演唱的，最後他拒絕了 ^[3]  。

歌曲的創作來源自傑森·德魯羅哥哥的愛情經歷。一天，傑森的哥哥打電話給他，説自己欺騙了一個女孩，希望能夠得到她得原諒。之後，那個女孩真的給了傑森哥哥機會，兩人重新在一起，還訂了婚。故事打動了傑森，於是他走進工作室開始創作這首歌曲 ^[3]  。
