繼推出歌曲《伸出手》後，歌手平安在平安夜到來之際再發一首新歌：《We'll be there》。 ^[2] 

平安的新歌，是唱給朋友的。一年很快就過完了，到年底的時候我們就會去梳理自己一年的歷程，去總結人生、反思生命、追念愛情和友誼。‘We'll be there’的意思，可以理解成我們相互守候。可能平日裏，我們就自顧自，在自己的生活圈裏、事業場上衝鋒陷陣，朋友之間沒有怎麼聯繫，我們身上發生很多事，他們都是不在場的。但這種不在場的“陪伴”，也是我們懷有美好人生夢想的重要力量。因為我們知道，無論自己在哪裏，做什麼，他們都默默陪伴和支持着我們。

《We'll be there》旋律朗朗上口，中文的主歌部分，沒有華麗辭藻的堆砌，但卻如細語呢喃，充滿脈脈温情。“時間一分一秒過去/轉眼 季節已悄然更替/窗外已經是Christamas eve/一年即將過去歲末冬的氣息”、“雖然世界並不盡如人意/而你卻從來不曾放棄/抬起頭總是會想到你/我在這裏等你帶來春的訊息/”沒有深刻哲學理念的傳達，而只是講時光流逝、季節更替。英文的副歌部分，卻通過復沓迴環，來實行一詠三嘆：I'll be there，any time you need a friend；you'll be there，any time I need a hand；we'll be there……鼓和bass音色老沉，再加上唱詩班似的和聲，聽這音樂就如同曬着暖暖的太陽，温暖的情緒在這詠歎之間蔓延開來：音樂多美好，日子真簡單，而且我在，你在。冬去春來，我們就在這歲月裏相互陪伴和守候。
