Walk On Water創作背景

《Walk On Water》是從斯蓋拉·格蕾寫出的一段旋律發展而來的。斯蓋拉·格蕾表示，她從6歲寫歌開始就想要寫出這樣一首歌。製作人Rick Rubin給JAY-Z播放了該曲後，JAY-Z的妻子碧昂斯演唱了該曲的旋律部分。埃米納姆表示，與碧昂斯合作是他一直期望的一件事，認為她做任何事都近乎完美；另一方面，埃米納姆又能感受到“完美”背後的壓力，這份壓力與歌曲產生了極大的共鳴^[1] 。
