位留着亮麗粉紅色短髮（現在是銀白色），一身酷炫裝扮的新世代辣妹Pink，有着菲律賓的血統，卻在法國尼斯舉辦的超級模特兒選秀表演會上，一鳴驚人而被唱片公司發掘，併成為新世代酷炫樂團TLC的師妹。不同的是，雖然有着類似的外表，但除了酷似TLC以重節奏的Hip-Hop舞曲為主外，Pink更唱出足以和Janet Jackson、Toni Braxton媲美的節奏藍調情歌，尤其在轉音和渾厚的嗓音運用上，也令人驚訝不已，是以讓LaFace將其視為秘密武器。 雖然年紀輕輕才30歲，Pink卻已被媒體讚譽為“下一個麥當娜”。縱然這個推論尚言之過早，但這位頂着粉紅驚世髮色的女歌手，確實已經撂下了“我要接收全世界，然後把它漆成粉紅色”這樣的豪語。自信、率真、直言不諱，Pink常説她的主要目的就是打破陳規。而身為一位在人才濟濟的節奏藍調樂壇中打拼的白人女歌手，事實上她可説已經粉碎了這個主戰場中既有的慣例了。

Pink藝名的來歷：

Pink7歲時她因在夏令營中被頑皮的男孩當眾扯下褲子並大喊“看吶！她變成粉紅色啦！”而從此得到了“Pink”這個綽號。

14歲在俱樂部裏擔任歌手，正式使用的藝名：P!nk
