The Incredible String Band演藝經歷
The Incredible String Band組建於1965年，成員為來自蘇格蘭的三位民謠藝術家Clive Palmer，Robin Williamson, Mike Heron和樂隊名字來源於由樂隊成員經營的格拉斯哥一家專門演奏民謠的小酒吧Clive's Incredible Folk Club，他們簽約於著名的經濟人Joe Boyd，廠牌為Elektra Records，這是當時專門發掘一些有天分的民謠的藝術家的廠牌，第一張同名專輯發表於1966年，當時bob dylan還在採訪中大肆誇獎了他們的許多作品，不過在完成這張專輯以後樂隊解散了1年，樂隊成員去了很多國家例如阿富汗，摩納哥等等，帶回很多民族樂器，1967年重組發行專輯The 5000 Spirits or the Layers of the Onion，顯示了他們在音樂上更大的進步，和更多獨特的聲音。
