Telephone創作背景
《Telephone》最初是羅德尼·傑金寫給布蘭妮·斯皮爾斯的第六張錄音室專輯《Circus》的候選歌曲，但布蘭妮在試唱過幾次後，認為該歌曲音調單一，作出了棄用的決定。而最終該曲的作者羅德尼·傑金接着將版權賣給了Lady Gaga

該曲的MV由喬納斯·阿克倫德執導，拍攝地點在洛杉磯的沙漠中，延續《Paparazzi》的劇情（LadyGaga因毒害了她的男友而入獄之後的故事）

歌曲MV一開場，Lady Gaga被關進女子監獄，兩名女獄卒扒掉了她的衣服，她抬腿跨上監獄鐵柵，其中一名獄卒説道：“早説過她是女人”（澄清Lady Gaga是人妖的謠言）。後來Lady Gaga全身被綁上鐵鏈，與一名女犯人激吻；獄中犯人互毆，她以封鎖犯罪現場專用的黃色膠帶纏身，擺出各種煽情挑逗的姿勢。接着碧昂絲打電話給她，將她保釋出獄，卻計劃殺人。隨後來兩人開車前往餐廳，在餐廳裏毒殺了碧昂絲男友與其他顧客，最後乘坐電影《殺死比爾》中的黃色卡車逃亡，LadyGaga跟碧昂絲説去逃到天涯海角，並互相保證永不回來，後鏡頭顯示“未完待續”
