Articulate Storyline是Articulate公司繼Articulate Studio 09之後於 ^[2]  2012年5月發佈的一款新的課件製作工具軟件。這款軟件是一個獨立的、單機版的E-learning多媒體互動課件開發工具。這個軟件的設計理念雖然也是效仿著名的E-learning開發工具如Captivate, Lectora, OutStart Trainer, Composica等個性化和自由度高的軟件，但是Articulate Storyline結合了Articulate Studio的一些特長，並以其獨特的設計、人性化的操作界面、豐富的素材庫和簡潔的設置方法受到用户的歡迎。然後，與此同時也讓人們為選用Articulate Studio 還是Storyline而糾結，而當看到用户在得知Storyline並沒有集成Articulate Engage而失望的時候，他也許在背後竊笑。

Storyline支持導入PowerPoint、articulate engege、quizmaker、Storyline這幾種格式文件。先給大家介紹最常用也最熟悉的PowerPoint導入到Storyline中會有哪些問題，同時該怎麼處理。

1.文本：導入的文本可能在字體大小，行距，對齊，顏色，或符號上有變化。

2.ppt功能：

（1）演示文稿的大小

如果你導入的PowerPoint演示文稿和Storyline大小不同.

有兩種方法：一是改變PowerPoint大小導入到Storyline裏，二是改變Storyline與你的ppt大小相同，這個功能比articulate要好，沒有固定尺寸。

（2）嵌入字體

Storyline不支持PowerPoint中嵌入的字體。如果計算機上沒有安裝PowerPoint演示文稿中使用的字體，Storyline將用於默認字體代替。

（3）動畫

這個是我最糾結的，支持的少得可憐，要和很多很炫的動作説拜拜了。

進入效果動畫：飛入；淡入；縮放；旋轉；縮放並旋轉。其他的將被轉換為淡入。

退出效果動畫：淡出；飛出；收縮；旋轉；收縮並旋轉。其他的將被轉換為淡出。

強調效果動畫：不支持。

運動路徑動畫：不支持。

（4）SmartArt圖形

PowerPoint中的smartart圖形直接導入到Storyline中將直接被轉換為圖片。

如果需要編輯或修改smartart圖形裏的文本內容。你可以在導入Storyline前，把smartart圖形打散（直到無法再打散的情況），然後導入到Storyline裏，圖形形狀還在，而且文本也可以編輯。

（5）圖表

操作方法同smartart圖形。

（6）公式

PowerPoint中的公式導入到Storyline中將被轉換為圖形，無法編輯，且無法搜索到，目前沒辦法解決。

（7）幻燈片編號

不會導入到Storyline中，不確保不會出現問題，我測試時沒有發現問題。

（8）3D旋轉

3D旋轉不被支持，只有在PowerPoint中把3D另存為圖像再導入到Storyline中。

（9）Gif圖像

Gif圖像通過PowerPoint導入到Storyline中被轉換為圖片，Storyline本身支持Gif的，所以直接在Storyline中導入gif圖即可。

（10）線條粗細

PowerPoint中的線條導入到Storyline中，有可能會粗細不一致，因為他們兩個使用的是不同的測量單位。

PowerPoint使用點（PT）；

Storyline使用像素（px）

總之，Storyline對PowerPoint的支持並不完好，不能和作為PowerPoint插件的articulate軟件相比。不過作為獨立的製作軟件工具已經很不錯了。
