Stephen Deutsch基本情況
電影聲音與電影音樂專家學者。著有三十部以上的電影、歌劇、電視劇與廣播劇配樂作品。與英國著名編劇Peter Barnes有着許廣泛的合作，包括2001年的歌劇Jubilee，勞倫斯-奧利弗獎獲獎歌劇《紅鼻子》以及85版(Alice in Wonderland 1985), 電影《艱難時世》等。除此之外，Stephen Deutsch在電子音樂（包括採樣音樂與合成器音樂）、20世紀音樂創作技法、商業音樂創作、廣播電視音樂研究等領域也頗有建樹，著有大量專著與文獻。
StephenDeutsch本科畢業於美國朱麗葉音樂學院作曲專業，後於舊金山州立大學取得碩士學位。定居倫敦後加入了英國音樂界的最高學府皇家音樂學院從事電子音樂創作方向的研究與教學工作。他的音樂作品被許多著名演奏家與樂團所演奏，諸如著名的室內樂團Medici Qaurtet, 歌劇藝術家David Campbell, 以及享譽世界的倫敦莫扎特管弦樂團等。
1992年，Stephen Deutsch在英國伯恩茅斯大學（Bournemouth University）創立了影視配樂：電子音樂創作方向的研究生課程，後發展為電影音樂作曲和電影聲音設計兩個方向的課程。這個專業不僅在英國是首創，甚至在整個歐洲，都是首屈一指的學科。這門課程意在培養具備為電影、電視、廣播、廣告、動畫等多媒體進行配樂工作的研究生高級人才。與此同時，Stephen Deutsch還被英國國家電影電視學院聘為高級導師。至今已經為配樂界培養了超過60名學生，其中的一些已經成為了當今英國配樂界的中堅力量。
