savin' me

savin' me為Nickelback的一首歌，電影《死囚大逃殺》中的片尾曲，且是美劇《越獄》的插曲。

Nickelback最早成立於加拿大的小城Hanna，1996年他們以一張EP唱片Hesher和首張獨立專輯Curb開始闖蕩樂壇。在沒有絲毫名氣的情況下，他們想盡辦法宣傳自己：巡迴演出、散發宣傳資料和廣告，以及發動親戚朋友向電台打電話要求播放他們的歌曲等等。

2000年初，他們的第二張獨立專輯The State問世，給當時幾乎完全被國外搖滾樂侵佔的加拿大搖滾樂壇帶去了一絲本土化搖滾樂的清新。這使他們迅速竄紅。而他們追求的post-grunge音樂風格也成為許多歌迷的最愛。成名後的Nickekback迅速投身於第3張新專輯Silver Side Up的製作，該專輯由Rick Parashar和Randy Staub這兩位一流製作人掌舵，這張專輯首次在美國發行並取得了絕佳的成績，曾經排在Billboard 200排行榜的亞軍位置，誕生了多首搖滾單曲榜的冠軍單曲，專輯銷量也超過了500萬張。

Nickelback最近的兩張專輯分別是2003年的The Long Road和2005年剛剛發行的All the Right Reasons。
