SUMMER TIME

2013年，吉克雋逸推出首支英文單曲《Spoonful》後，獲得華語歌壇的一些好評，並且受邀到美國與説唱歌手史努比·狗狗合作該曲。因為史努比·狗狗在選擇音樂合作藝人上頗為苛刻，只有蕾哈娜、布蘭妮·斯皮爾斯等美國歌手與他有過合唱，因此吉克雋逸成為第一位與其合作的華人歌手。史努比·狗狗與吉克雋逸一見如故，所以兩人合作該曲的過程頗為順利 ^[5]  。

《Summer Time》中，吉克雋逸已經展現出成為“明日巨星”的範兒，以中國音樂製作的水準作為參考，沒有幾位歌手的作品能有如此的高水準 ^[2]  。吉克雋逸用美的表現征服了人們的感官體驗。在該曲中，吉克雋逸如同一道西海岸的光，照耀在該曲之中。她亦是一個音樂的精靈，讓聽眾跟着她的節奏擺動身體，一同感受夏日的狂歡。她還是正能量的使者，將該曲中的無慮與雀躍傳達給每一個聽眾 ^[3]  。

《Summer Time》MV中，吉克雋逸與Snoop Dogg合作，製作人搭檔Fingazz也親歷出演。MV中，初次到美國洛杉磯的吉克雋逸用東方女生魅力與熱情讓西海岸變成了Party time，而她則幻化成一直暢遊在樂海之中的美人魚，感染着熱愛音樂的人們。拍攝過程中，Snoop Dog力薦MV導演 Ali Zamani為吉克雋逸量身打造，還大方出借了Calabasas的私人皇家別墅來為MV取景拍攝 ^[3]  。
