奧馬爾是個受過古典音樂培訓的鋼琴手，他獨特的天賦，創作出讓人久久不能忘懷的迷人旋律。奧馬爾出生於紐約，6歲開始學鋼琴，是一名聯合國外交官的兒子，數十年裏周遊列國，從諸如阿富汗、古巴、法國、瑞士和捷克共和國等迢遙國度吸收各種音樂元素。這些異域音樂出色地融合在他創作的歌曲中，象“Gypsy Woman”（吉普賽女郎），把耳熟能詳的歐洲經典旋律和奔放的拉丁節奏巧妙地結合在一起，讓人情不自禁地踏起舞步。“希望我的音樂能再現我在世界各地遊歷的經驗，”奧馬爾粲然一笑説，“正是這一靈感為我的音樂注入了能量。”

夏洛蒂-文斯(Charity Vance)，1992年2月23出生在阿肯色州首府小石城，7歲起，Charity每年就會在小石城的首要的文化藝術節Riverfest進行演出，並在Verizon競技場進行國歌表演。9歲就在阿肯色話劇團的連演音樂劇《Annie》中出演主要角色。甚至是小石城著名的Peabody 酒店特別活動的嘉賓。Charity11歲便獲得了由KDIS99.5FM舉辦的迪斯尼少年廣播明星比賽的贊助。並受僱為全國性播出的廣播廣告進行

配音。

閒暇時會在父母家庭沙龍幫工Charity。在美國偶像第九季，芝加哥站海選上，16歲的她演唱的《Summertime》技驚四座。評委Randy説她的演唱令人印象深刻，聲音纖細但又引人入勝。客座評委shania twain認為她不懼怕展示自己的音域，但可能需要些磨練增加音色的質感，但極具個人特色。毒舌simon説他聽過很多人演繹這首歌，但Charity的演繹很有自己特色，而且是可以灌製唱片的好聲音。最終四位評委一致通過，並在她退場後連聲感嘆不相信16歲的她會有如此表現。在好萊塢周組合日她與 Michelle Dellamore和Ashley Rodregez.組成的Faith首位出場，精彩演繹《irreplaceable》全員晉級，在之後的個人賽中Charity仍舊出色演繹了《Gravity》，但最終未得到評委的青睞，在分屋宣佈結果中被淘汰。?
