Pull Me Up

《Pull Me Up》是張靚穎繼《808》《Dust My Shoulders off》《Work For It》《Adam and Eve》後的另一支英文單曲。創作者Jack Brady和Jordan Roman以解構“女性對自我困境的突圍”為主題創作了該曲 ^[2]  。張靚穎邀請到Harvey Mason Jr.和The Wavys為該曲製作 ^[2]  。

《Pull Me Up》中，朗朗上口的中毒的旋律，讓人沉浸其中無法自拔 ^[4]  。該曲滲入清冷的Trap編曲元素，在暗湧的鼓點節奏中，旁若無人地講述着一個為愛痴狂，不顧一切，卻終被救贖的故事。在該曲中，張靚穎用慵懶、從容、充滿金屬質感的音色演繹，在若隱若現、延綿不斷的電子音色下，包裹着東方神秘的吟唱，呈現出精緻雍容的聲場 ^[2]  。

《Pull Me Up》MV是張靚穎首次以表演形態拍攝呈現的MV，張靚穎特意剪短長髮，以素雅的妝容和造型，經歷了40小時無睡眠的密集拍攝，將內心深處的音樂訴求投入到了MV拍攝中。MV在表達手法上類似於音樂版“盜夢空間”，女主人公彷彿一直徘徊於夢與醒之間無法脱身。MV一開始，是張靚穎醒來的時刻，隨之等待她的是一系列的“死去”與“再生”，在經歷了水深火熱、窒息、墜落等一系列場景後，最終還是醒來 ^[5]  。
