Pray For The Wicked創作背景
自2016年的專輯《Death Of A Bachelor》開始，Panic ! At The Disco其實就是布倫登·尤里一個人的樂隊。而布倫登·尤里在2017年加入了由辛迪·勞帕一手操刀詞曲創作的音樂劇《Kinky Boots》後，經歷了一段有趣又過癮的演出，於是許多靈感湧現，等到音樂劇告一段落，布倫登·尤里從紐約回到洛杉磯，立刻邀請一些好友到他的錄音室開始製作《Pray For The Wicked》。而上一張專輯《Death Of A Bachelor》的製作人之一——Jake Sinclair，再度與Panic ! At The Disco合作，擔任《Pray For The Wicked》的製作人

開場的2分49秒長度的《（F*** A） Silver Lining》受到音樂劇的影響，以小型音樂劇的編曲，裝入流行、嘻哈、放克、舞曲、絃樂等音源；《Say Amen （Saturday Night）》則有着戲劇作品般的張力，曲調和歌詞體現了布倫登·尤里叛逆又詼諧的一面；《High Hopes》集結了所有流行因素，加強了節奏感的鋪陳，並且引入了絃樂和小號的輔佐
