《Party Rock Anthem》原本是GoonRock為説唱歌手弗洛·裏達製作的，當時的和絃還有些不同，但後者因為一些理由而拒絕了。交給LMFAO後，RedFoo產生了一個想法：讓這首歌曲成為一首派對搖滾之歌。最初，GoonRock是反對LMFAO修改歌詞的，但想到如果這首歌能成為LMFAO的代表作，也是挺不錯的。於是，LMFAO對歌詞進行了細微的修改，並表示要通過這首歌來改變世界

《Party Rock Anthem》MV由RedFoo和Sky Blu製作，發佈於2011年3月8日。MV模仿了2002年電影《驚變28天》的片段。開頭，RedFoo和Sky Blu從牀上起來，來到荒蕪街道上，看到一個人在跳鬼步舞，之後越來越多的人出來，跳鬼步地把兩人圍住，於是兩人也了跳起來。MV最後，人們舉行了舞蹈PK。美國舞蹈團體Quest Crew參演了該MV
