該曲由德雷克和Wizkid共同創作，Drake表示在他與蕾哈娜合作了《Work》之後他得到了進步，《Work》也給他創作《One Dance》帶來了幫助

。該首歌曲採樣自凱拉的歌曲《Do You Mind》，德雷克和Wizkid在拿到了該音軌之後，把它剪輯成很小一部分，並且之後在電話聯繫中表演了一小段，一起完成這首歌，之後很快完成了這首歌的錄製
