早先，作為好萊塢老戲骨安東尼霍普金斯和本金斯利的粉絲，遠東韻律一直就很期待能夠為影片助力。《極速之巔》不僅給予了他們這樣一個為偶像創作歌曲的機會，這個不一樣的動作片與奧斯卡影帝完美表演的結合也使遠東韻律成功躋身好萊塢動作片革命新浪潮的一員。歌曲創作期間，遠東韻律聽到曲婉婷演唱的中文歌，立刻，他們就被她特別的聲線所吸引而決定共同創作。遠東韻律完成了整首歌的歌曲及英文歌詞的創作，婉婷則完成了中文歌詞部分的創作
