Northern Kings

Northern Kings並不是一支一般的樂隊，樂隊四位成員分別來自四支著名的芬蘭金屬樂隊，樂隊成員有Nightwish的Marco Hietala ，Sonata Arctica的Tony Kakko，Terasbetoni的Jarkko Ahola(2004-2005年擔任Dreamtale的主唱)以及Charon的J. Pekka Leppaluoto。由於四個人在之前樂隊中的歷練和積攢的人氣讓他們成為芬蘭一支非常有號召力的金屬樂隊。

樂隊於2008年和2009年分別發行了兩張曲風偏向哥特金屬的專輯《Reborn》和《Rethroned》，整體比較莊嚴華麗，加上四個人獨樹一幟的高音唱腔，讓我們彷彿又回到了Nightwish, Sonata Arctica的時代。在翻唱的幾首歌中更是體現出他們對於搖滾的超強駕馭能力，在四個人無與倫比的高音中，將聽者無形中帶入了哥特的氛圍中。
