作為加拿大頂尖的音樂公司，Nettwerk成立26年來從沒簽約華人歌手，不過這一歷史在前年底被一個當時27歲的哈爾濱女孩改寫：2009年11月，從哈爾濱走出的曲婉婷正式簽約Nettwerk。緊接着，由她創作的《我的歌聲裏》等3首歌曲被奔馳公司選中、在世界各地播放；聽了她創作並演唱的歌曲後，國內著名音樂人張亞東也有意在今年下半年與她合作。日前，記者電話採訪了身在加拿大温哥華的曲婉婷。　聽到“曲婉婷”這個名字，給人的第一感覺是她是個温婉、文靜型的女孩。而在交流過程中，記者感受更多的是她的獨立。由於忙着製作新專輯和到紐約等地演出，採訪只能見縫插針地進行，有時是凌晨，有時是午夜。不過曲婉婷明顯已經習慣了這種忙碌的生活，而且一點兒都不覺得苦，用她的話來説：“跟以前我為音樂做出的努力相比，這點不值一提。”採訪過程中，曲婉婷和記者分享了她在音樂路上的點點滴滴。
