My Delirium

出生於新西蘭皮普布朗a.k.a.的Ladyhawke是一個雄心勃勃和令人振奮的首次唱片記錄。 Ladyhawke 本名Pip Brown，11歲開始打鼓，14歲自學吉他,貝斯,鍵盤，並且開始跟隨姐姐和爸爸到處表演 8歲畢業之後搬到了Wellington,NZ，和朋友組了個叫Two Lane Blacktop(2001)的樂團，樂團當時在新西蘭和澳洲算是相當成功，並且常在兩地飛往做巡迴演出，Two Lane Blacktop甚至去了美國做了幾場巡迴，在LadyHawkee官網自傳説他們甚至曾經，去過紐約的CBGB表演過。　 　CBGB 是個美國早期地下樂搖滾龐克樂團，常常去表演的一個酒吧，過去像是70s,80s的Ramones，Misfits，the Patti Smith Group，Mink Deville,The Dead Boys，The Dictators，The Fleshtones,Richard Hell & The Voidoids，Blondie，都曾經在那邊表演過，是一個很有歷史意義和地位的一個酒吧，可惜在2006因為地產問題倒閉，過去的CBGB所在地已看不到酒吧的存在，而老闆之後也在2007年也因肺癌過世 ，LadyHawke説那時站在曾經許多過去偉大樂團，同一個舞台表演感受真的很棒。　 　2003,Two Lane Blacktop 準備飛去澳洲，跟美國Modey Lemon一起巡迴的兩天前，樂團的主唱突然宣佈退出樂團，而鼓手隨後也馬上宣佈退出，之後不久樂團正式解散，覺得莫名其妙的他因為機票還在，帶着行李箱和吉他一個人飛到了莫爾本..... 　來到澳洲不久後再度被雪梨來的Nick Littlemore找上，Nick Littlemore 當時，也是澳洲一個著名電音/舞曲音樂團體 PNAU 的一員，Pip Brown加入他的樂團 teenager，在樂團中擔任領銜吉他和和聲，Pip Brown説他喜歡他們的音樂 。　 　Ladyhawke則是Pip Brown在2005自組的樂團，這樣她能夠完全自由的做自己想做的音樂，70,80年代的音樂對於Pip Brown的影響很大，Pip Brown她説她喜歡那個年代,所創造出一種喜哀合併，融合大量合成器還有即興重複拍的音樂，而流行文化包括音樂,電影,任何東西，對她也是重要靈感來源，她想要創造一種讓人就算第一次聽，也能夠臉上出現笑容想起自己過去一段記憶點的音樂 。
