Judas

Lady Gaga在接受採訪時稱，《Judas》的內容充滿了説教意味，歌曲的內容是關於一個女人一次又一次錯誤地愛上錯誤的男人。 ^[2]  歌曲的創作靈感源自背叛Lady Gaga的前男友，Gaga想把她的前男友比作背叛耶穌的猶大。而“猶大”來源於聖經，所以歌曲中有包含宗教內容的元素。 ^[3]  Gaga認為這首歌的含義是自己雖然朝着光亮的部分走，但一方面又與背後的惡魔親近，用來表達自己錯愛的經歷。 ^[4]

《Judas》融合了電子浩室、舞曲以及搖滾音樂風格，是一首黑暗風格的歌曲。歌曲的旋律像是為女子組合羅奈特樂隊量身訂做一般，這是一首節奏強勁的舞曲，歌曲的內容是與愛情有關的故事。 ^[7]  Gaga用一種近乎強勢的嗓音演唱出這首歌，表面上也是對女權主義的一種發揚，是一種新時代女性理智對待愛情的宣言。歌曲還受到了80年代流行音樂的影響。歌曲的簡譜由C大調構成，每分鐘擁有131次的節拍，Gaga的音域從B♭₃跨域到E♭₅。 ^[8] 

在MV一開始，由瑪利亞·抹大拉（Lady Gaga扮演）和耶穌帶領着他們的門徒騎着機動車一行前往耶路撒冷的小鎮。但在那個偏僻的小鎮上遇上了背叛耶穌的猶大（諾曼·裏德斯扮演），而展開的一系列的打鬥。當瑪利亞·抹大拉拿着槍對着猶大的臉的時候，手槍口伸出的竟是一根紅色的唇膏塗在猶大的臉上，這就表達了她與猶大之間曖昧的愛意，最後MV在背叛耶穌的瑪利亞·抹大拉被亂石拋擲的場面中結束。 ^[9] 

一位來自芝加哥的不知名女歌手狀告Lady Gaga，稱Lady Gaga的歌曲《Judas》抄襲了她的作品。這位名為Rebecca Francescatti的女歌手要求Lady Gaga就歌曲侵權作出賠償。最後法院駁回上訴 ^[12]  。
