I Want to Hold Your Hand

1963年，約翰·列儂和保羅·麥卡特尼在保羅女朋友珍·愛舍家中的地下音樂教室裏一起創作了《I Wanna Hold Your Hand》。當保羅·麥卡特尼用吉他彈出小調音階（歌詞“I think you'll understand”所在的小節）的和絃時，約翰·列儂找到了感覺，讓他再彈了一遍 ^[1]  。1963年10月17日，披頭士在英國倫敦的EMI錄音室 ^[8]  ，在製作人喬治·馬丁在協助下錄製了該曲，並第一次使用了四軌錄音設備。他們錄了17遍才結束錄製 ^[2]  。

約翰·列儂和保羅·麥卡特尼歌中共同擔任領唱，並分別演奏節奏吉它部分與貝司部分，喬治·哈里森擔任領奏吉它演奏以及和音演唱，林戈·斯塔爾演奏打擊樂部分 ^[3]  。
