新加坡人，在日本走紅，但唱的主要是英文。1985年10月2日出生，全名為Olivia Ong。本來是一位在新加坡無名的小女生，變成了備受樂迷讚賞的女歌手。2001年，15歲的王儷婷在一場歌唱比賽中被日本S2S唱片公司的總裁Suzuki Ken發掘，並簽入其旗下。她結束了在新加坡的中學教育，花了一年時間在日本的高中學習，隨後成為一名全職藝人。
