Heather Nova個人簡介
Heather Nova百慕大羣島出生並長大，獨特的地緣造就了她寬闊的音域，也讓她看上去不怎麼像個純粹的美國人，歌聽起來也是，我原來有她的一張Siren，雖然不是她最好的專輯，不過印象很深刻
，主要是她的聲音特別的好聽，有點像一個叫Sarah Fimm的女歌手，空靈應該不能特別準確的形容，不過多少有點那個感覺的説。

Heather Nova音樂歷程
和其他女歌手一樣，她從小起就將唱歌當作一門娛樂，直到1993年Glow Stars發行，才真正的讓她成了一名歌手，專輯取得了成功，她繼續創作，兩年後Oyster問世，其中有一首很著名的Walk The Line。接下來就是Siren，循序漸進的讓她的名氣越來越大，專輯裏我比較喜歡的歌是London Rain（歡快的流行搖滾感覺，很不錯，尤其是熱戀中的人聽，我可還一直沒這福分，哈哈），What A Feeling（強烈薦，我最喜歡她的一首，婉轉優美的説），Not Only Human（有點奇特，不過特別特別的好聽）。如果你看過電影《
布達佩斯之戀》的話，片尾版本的Gloomy Sunday就由她演唱，我覺得她唱的挺好---雖然這個版本有些流行的説，這首歌同時收錄在她的專輯South中，2002年發行，是她最好的一張專輯，個人這麼認為，專輯裏的Virus of Mind是我第一次聽她的歌，當時誤認為她是我喜歡的那種風格來着，於是找了她一些歌聽，聽了之後發覺其實完全不是，不過倒沒覺得失望，還有像Like Lovers Do，I'm No Angel，If I Saw You In A Movie等等，好聽的曲子很多的説...接着一年她就發行了Storm，真是多產的一個女歌手專輯絕不侷限於一種曲風,而是在鄉村、流行、搖滾、民謠甚至R&B之間穿梭來回Heather Nova的嗓音清亮且渾厚在中低音域顯得底藴十足其實聽的久了會發現專輯中還時常流露出一種淡淡的爵士味夾雜着R&B的節奏， 偶爾會讓人想起Corinne Bailey Rae
當然，論資歷，顯然Heather Nova要算作前 輩了。
