Fire and Rain

Fire and Rain是美國著名民謠唱將James Taylor（詹姆斯· 泰勒）的成名曲，也是其代表作，在Billboard Hot 100最高位列第3名。 ^[1]  歌曲在《滾石》評選的“The 500 greatest songs of all time”中排列第227位。

一首友誼之歌《You've Got A Friend》街頭巷尾傳唱金曲，至今仍頻出現在電視,電影,廣告之中成為重點襯樂，併為James Taylor贏得第一座格萊美“最佳流行男演唱人”獎。踏入歌壇近40個年頭，James不時的寫出關懷人心正面之語辭來鼓勵大眾，雖然自己曾有過毒癮以及精神方面的問題，但是勇於面對並決心改正，將成果與過程與樂迷分享，更常將精力轉移到公益,慈善表演上，誠實剖析自己心境，輔以簡單清爽樂器伴奏，James的音樂一直是那麼温暖的感動每位聆聽著的心。

民謠強人James Taylor的第二張專輯《Sweet Baby James》，這張專輯讓他成為了時代雜誌的封面人物。不過成功的背後總有艱辛，在這張專輯問世之前，James不知受了什麼刺激住進了一家精神病院，專輯中的打榜歌曲Fire and Rain的由來，就是因為他的一個病友自殺了。不過聽着這張專輯裏清新單純的木吉他，實在很難想像能寫出這樣清新歌曲的人居然也有住進精神病院的經歷。

本專輯在滾石雜誌評出的500張歷代最強專輯中排名第103位。
