艾米·戴蒙德於1992年4月15日出生於瑞典的東約特蘭省諾爾雪平，在歐洲是一位非常著名的流行歌手。

艾米·戴蒙德從兩歲開始就喜歡唱歌，她的第一次登台演出是在她七歲的時候參加一個名為Småstjärnorna的電視節目，並贏得了第三名。2004年，她發佈了自己的第一首商業意義上的單曲 “What's in It for Me“，並獲得了巨大的成功。這首歌在當年三月份的瑞典流行音樂排行榜上獲得了第一的好成績。但最開始瑞典的電視台拒絕在電視上播放這首歌的MV，因為他們不能接受一個小孩演唱關於成人間的關係的歌曲，但是艾米·戴蒙德並不這樣認為，她覺得這首歌曲的主題是關於友誼的；儘管遭到了電視台的封殺，在艾米·戴蒙德和Elin Lanto一起旅行的時候，”What’s in It for Me” 還是在各大電台熱播了起來。

藉着第一支單曲的成功，艾米順勢於2005年三月推出了她的首張專輯 “This Is Me Now” ，這張專輯賣了150000份，是當時瑞典黃金唱片銷量標準的三倍。至此，瑞典的各大電視台終於開始關注她了，截止到2005年底，她總共在20多個電視節目上亮相。

2006年她發佈了第二張專輯 “Still Me Still Now” ，2007年11月發佈了第三張專輯 “Music in Motion” 。

2008年的11月發佈了一張聖誕專輯 “En Helt Ny Jul“(意思是：一個嶄新的聖誕節)。這幾張專輯也都取得了不俗的成績，其中的一些歌曲，比如 “What’s In It For Me”, “Welcome To The City”, “Champion”,“Shooting Star”, “Don’t Cry Your Heart Out”, “It Can Only Get Better”, “Stay My Baby”, “Is It Love”, “Thank You” 等都被人們廣為傳唱。

艾米·戴蒙德於2009年再度參加了瑞典歌唱比賽 “Melodifestivalen” ，她的參賽曲目是由Alexander Bard、Bobby Ljunggren和Oscar Holter製作的電子樂 “It’s My Life” ，但很遺憾的在最終的決賽中不敵H.E.A.T.，沒能獲得第一。艾米·戴蒙德的第五張專輯(包括 “It’s My Life”) “Swings and Roundabouts” 於2009年10月22日發行。
