音樂上，《Fancy》有着令人難以抗拒的副歌，Charli XCX展現了她的格温·史蒂芬妮風格的嗓音，把聽眾穿越到了二十世紀八十年代。可是越到後面，越令人感到重複，甚至厭煩。內容上，《Fancy》表達的是對物質文化的沉迷，伊基彷彿在過度地炫耀，慫恿聽眾享受奢侈糜爛的生活，並沒有把握分寸，從而起到更好的諷刺效果，這一點卻比不上格温·史蒂芬妮的《Luxurious》。 ^[14-19] 

《Fancy》的MV由Director X執導，於2014年2月在美國洛杉磯的格蘭特高中拍攝，MV中的部分造型靈感來源於電視劇《天才保姆》。MV於2014年3月4日在Vevo首播，展現了伊基·阿塞莉婭和Charli XCX的校園生活。 ^[20-23]  該MV被評為美國2014年最受關注的MV，被澳大利亞墨爾本《時代》報和《娛樂週刊》評為2014年最佳MV，被公告牌評為二十一世紀十年代最佳MV第5名。 ^[24-26]
