《Famous》取樣妮娜·西蒙的歌曲《Do What You Gotta Do》、Sister Nancy的歌謠《Bam Bam》、Il Rovescio della Medaglia演唱的《Mi Sono Svegliato E... Ho Chiuso Gli Occhi》等昔人之作。歌詞參照了2009年MTV音樂視頻獎坎耶·維斯特打斷泰勒·斯威夫特時的演講、以及該事件後的餘波，歌曲主要靈感亦來源於此。歌手斯威茲·貝茲除了投入歌曲創作工作外，亦為該歌曲提供了人聲 ^[2-4]  。

《Famous》製作精明，一如既往地提煉了前人佳作的精髓，使其告別説唱歌曲慣有的枯燥感，顯露出坎耶·維斯特的才華橫溢，也吻合他素來的創作風格。歌詞極具爭議性，彷彿重燃舊火、推波助瀾，是一個既光彩奪目又引起軒然大波的鮮明例子，令聽者莫衷一是。客席演唱者蕾哈娜的橋段雖然微乎其微，但是別開生面，遺留給聽者的印象不比坎耶·維斯特遜色 ^[6-9]  。
