Family of the year 是一支來自美國加利福尼亞州洛杉磯的獨立搖滾樂隊，由Vanessa Jeanne Long （主唱）、Joseph Keefe （主唱、吉他手）、Sebastian Keefe （鼓手、副唱）、James Buckey （吉他、副唱）和 Christina Schroeter （鍵盤、副唱）組成。代表作有《Hero》。

Family of the year樂隊簡介
2009年9月，自己出了第一張EP《Where's the Sun》，包括"Let's Go Down", "Castoff", "Summer Girl", "What a Surprise", and "Psyche or Like Scope"。
2009年11月，樂隊發佈了他們的處女作長篇專輯《Songbook》。
2010年1月，樂隊宣佈通過他們的網站發佈獨家歌曲，同年3月第二張數字EP《Through the Trees》發行。
2012年7月，樂隊發佈了他們的第二張專輯《Loma Vista》，本張專輯的"Hero"大熱，出現在各種深夜電視節目，包括傑·雷諾今夜秀，吉米雞毛秀，柯南秀，卡爾森-達利訪談。並且在Billboard另類榜上最高排名12。
