這首歌也被選為2009年4月於日本富士電視台的noitaminA播放的原創電視動畫《東之伊甸》的OP。2009年5月《Falling Down》被製作成單曲專輯在日本發售，這是史上首次世界級搖滾音樂和日本動畫的互動。

綠洲樂隊堪稱是近十年來英國最受歡迎同時也最受專業人士肯定的樂隊，他們的風格同時糅合了粗糙陰暗的詭譎與浪漫抒情的優美，對吉他的運用更可謂出神入化。《Falling Down》以夏日太陽的沉淪作為契機。引帶出滅世後的諷刺口吻，一如既往地嘲笑、不屑、憤怒，然後在希望中呼喚出全新的自由。

綠洲樂隊（OASIS）是一支1991年在曼徹斯特成立的英國搖滾樂隊。樂隊最初由Liam Gallagher（主唱，鼓手），Paul Arthurs（吉他），Paul McGuigan（貝司吉他）和Tony組成。麥卡羅爾返回曼徹斯特後和利亞姆的哥哥諾埃爾·加拉格爾（Noel Gallagher，主音吉他和人聲）加入了樂隊。截至2009年6月，綠洲樂隊在全球範圍內共坐擁超過七千萬的專輯銷售量。 ^[2]
