這首歌最早收錄在“流行音樂之王”邁克爾·傑克遜（Michael Jackson）2004年的精選集"Michael Jackson:The Ultimate Collection"中。

2010年6月，著名薩克斯演奏家Kenny G推出他的第13張專輯"Heart & Soul"，該專輯第一首單曲就是Fall Again，這專輯裏只有兩首有人聲演唱，Fall Again是其中之一。但注意，演唱者不是Kenny G，而是這首歌的作者之一Robin Thicke。

Michael原計劃完成這首歌曲，並把它收錄在2001年發行的個人專輯《Invincible》中。但由於兒子Prince生病，Michael沒有時間完成它，最終也未把它收在專輯裏。“當我們製作到四分之三的時候，”歌曲創作者Walter Afanasieff在2000年1月時確認説，“發生了突發事件，他的兒子病的很嚴重，我們不得不先把它停下來。”樣帶版於1999年錄製，並作為之前未發行曲目收錄在了2004年11月發行的《終極收藏》套裝中。而歌手Glenn Lewis演唱的版本，則收錄在了2002年末發行的電影原聲碟《曼哈頓女傭》中。Michael與Glenn Lewis的假合唱版（歌迷合成），於2005年出現在網絡上。

喜歡這首歌是很早之前的事情了，柔美，哀傷，又不失靈動，雖然這首歌其他人的版本也有，但還是更鐘情於這版的，少了薩克斯的那一分微醺，多了一絲清澈的哀傷。少了一份温潤嗓音的纏綿，多了一種清冽乾淨的心痛。

一開始是如流水一般舒展的音符，加上清晰淺淡的鼓聲作為前奏，一絲絲的流入心底，接着邁克爾用他那柔滑如絲綢的嗓音，唱出自己心中最熾熱的渴求

熾熱的感情終於噴薄而出，還是那樣的清晰，柔美的嗓音，卻在表達着最讓人心痛的願望，為你而呼吸，為你而流血，為在夢裏與你相逢，我甚至可以永不醒來，這首歌雖然到了高潮也不像其他情歌那樣撕心裂肺，但在心中一點點蔓延而出的痛苦感覺，卻如穿喉烈酒一般灼人心扉，自己又是那麼悲傷那麼清醒得甚至不會醉倒，直到心痛的不能呼吸…….
