樂隊主唱芙蘿倫絲·威爾奇每天騎車去倫敦市中心都會看到烏戈·羅迪諾內的作品。這幅作品在海沃德畫廊放了六個月，上面用彩虹色的大字寫着“DOG DAYS ARE OVER”。她從畫中得到了該曲的靈感^[3] 。
