他現居住在英格蘭的Suffolk，和他的妻子Toni（2005年10月31日結婚）及女兒Luna（1999年2月8日出生）一起。

他養了三隻貓，名叫Lilith、Mushka和Rumble，其中一隻少了一條腿。

他有5呎5吋（約1.65米）高。

他曾在一所私立學校上學，星期日也要報到，這令他非常惱火。

他曾有機會選擇成為一名記者，或是繼續他的音樂事業。

他曾經的樂隊是PDA和Feast of Excrement。他的第一個樂隊叫做The Lemon Grove Kids（檸檬果園孩子）。

他最喜歡的樂隊是Judas Priest、Emperor、Destruction、Slayer、Iron Maiden、Misfits和Paradise Lost。

他曾為Metal Hammer雜誌撰寫一檔名為“Dani's Inferno”（Dani的地獄）的專欄。

他決定要做音樂的一個原因是他深深着迷於音樂對人的影響力。

他因他的嗓音音域而鼎鼎大名。他有能力唱得很“乾淨而清楚”，但卻選擇了一種“骯髒的尖叫”方式，因為這與Cradle of Filth的音樂更為契合。

他通過單邊契據的法律方式把名字改成了Dani Filth。

2000年他在電影Cradle of Fear中扮演一個精神錯亂的變態，不顧一切地為他父親所受的迫害復仇。

2003年他在一部動畫電影Dominator中獻聲，扮演一個與影片同名的角色。

2005年他在Roadrunner的合輯CD中演唱了一首曲目“Dawn of a Golden Age”。

他在Bam Margera的MTV系列節目Viva La Bam最後一季的其中一集裏出現，這期節目中有Cradle of Filth 在Pennsylvania的現場演出，並以他們表演專輯Nymphetamine的曲目"Nemesis"作為主打。

他正與Gavin Baddeley合著一本名為The Gospel of Filth: A Black Metal Bible（“污穢福音：黑金屬聖經”）的書，現定於2006年9月出版。

他的廚房地板中曾經嵌着一個骷髏（看樣子像是30年代左右埋在房子周圍地裏的）。

(When asked what he's going to expose Luna to) "This is the irony of it. She loves Winnie the Pooh. And she loves The Simpsons. And she loves Disney. And Stuart Little. And stuff like that. And she'll dance to it, and that's what you expect from kids. But then at the same time, she'll be dancing around the kitchen to the new Nile album. At the moment she is too young to understand the difference. And that innocence is worth protecting."

以前在COF的DVD中得知主唱Dani Filth有演過這樣一部恐怖片。今天碰巧當到，還有些可看性。雖然Dani是掛主演的牌子，其實他的戲份不多，就是這麼走走過場，掐死幾個人，種幾顆魔種……全無演技可言，不過他的聲音以及一貫得舉動確實可以營造一些恐怖氛圍，而其餘得便需依靠道具和其他配角演技了得。

整部片子可以説沒有劇情，是一部MV式的電影，觀看時只需體會畫面和聲音結合的氛圍即可，不要想的太多。正如高曉松的那時花開可以當作一首校園民謠的MV來看一樣，你完全可以把Cradle of Fear當作一部流行黑金的MV來欣賞。本片配樂多為電子，片尾才出現Black Metal。片中血腥鏡頭大都以寫實手法表現（雖然現實中不太有機會看到），不象某些恐怖片以當事人的神情或黑影的動作來旁敲側擊，然而某些設計卻和以前錄像帶時期的看的恐怖片有些雷同。具體恐怖血腥在哪裏，説得太多會影響你入戲。
