凱蒂·佩裏為創作該曲，邀請了希雅·富勒來參與創作，邀請斯基普·馬利與她一同演唱該曲，邀請馬克斯·馬丁製作該曲。創作初期凱蒂·佩裏和希雅·富勒發生了不少摩擦，由於凱蒂·佩裏熱衷於分析生活，對希雅·富勒的創作自由存在牴觸情緒。但是兩人經過討論後，打破隔閡，創作出了這首迪斯科風格的歌曲
