這首歌是關於Melanie在專輯Cry Baby的第一個關於愛的關注點。她想這首歌能擁有某種魔而能捕捉住那種初戀的感覺，還像我們表達了一個一邊倒的戀人關係的有毒的陰暗面。歌裏描述的深陷愛河女孩無法趕上他，因為她的愛是不求回報的。她感覺就像貼緊一個旋轉木馬，在原地打轉，似乎從來不能伸手抓住自己喜歡的人。 ^[2] 

進入遊樂場→隱喻愛情遊戲→旋轉木馬旁，依循遊戲規則追隨吊帶小哥→戀愛中一昧拋棄自我，陷入被動地位→迷失自我，被玩弄於噴水遊戲→面具男得到娃娃説明牙牙已經完全被控制→追隨小哥回到旋轉木馬→一不留神發現自已被套住→在旋轉木馬上驚醒後，努力地終於掙脱了出來，再回到了原點回到原地→遇見下一個人，又是下一個輪迴 ^[2]
