《Broken Home》這首歌真實的反映了離婚和家庭暴力等社會現象，在現今全世界範圍內每年因為父母離婚而導致的家庭破裂，這也會讓孩子在心理上留下不可磨滅的陰影與傷害！

《Infest》專輯中的許多歌曲都撥動了美國年輕人的心絃，作品在榮登搖滾榜冠軍後，不少歌曲也成為了當年極為熱門的大熱單曲，樂隊由此也獲得了當年格萊美“最佳新進藝人”、“最佳短篇音樂錄像帶”2項提名。

儘管《Broken Home》這張EP在銷售等各方面都非常成功，但仍無法趕超單曲《Last Resort》。 ^[1] 

音樂MV場景設在雅各比沙迪克斯童年時期的家中，樂隊表演時穿插着雅各比對童年的回憶，從雅各比出生到十幾歲，主要集中在他的母親與父親搖搖欲墜的關係。

暗示，他的父親濫用酒精酗酒，從身體上或精神上給家人帶來了很大的折磨（一個場景他父親喝醉了，一天晚上回到家中，強暴了雅各布的母親），以及鏡頭相對平靜的時光和那些回憶之間的畫面閃爍。父親最終離開，導致母親離婚。到了歌曲的結尾，樂隊成員砸爛了家中的全部，摧毀他們的演奏使用樂器。
