Bring Me The Horizon

樂隊成立於2004年，音樂風格混合了death metal 和metalcore，通常被認為是死核-雖然他們在最近的專輯融合了更多的metalcore風格.

最初成員是由當地已解散的樂隊成員組成。樂隊名字是基於電影Pirates of the Caribbean中Jack Sparrow 的台詞："Now... Bring me that horizon."稍微改動了詞語，用簡單的“the”來代替“that”Bring Me the Horizon 作為了官方樂隊名。隨後簽約於 Visible Noise Records。他們第一次籤的廠牌是 Thirty Days of Night Records ，那也是該廠牌籤的第一支樂隊。樂隊也簽過美國的Epitaph Records和澳大利亞的 Shock Records。過去一段時間他們同Lostprophets (headline), The Blackout; Killswitch Engage (headline) 和The Haunted一同巡演過。在英國的07年3-4月份，他們為metalcore樂隊I killed the Prom Queen做壓軸表演。他們也在Download Festival 2007 和Iron Maiden, Slayer等其他樂隊一同表演。

Bring Me the Horizon在 Download Festival 2007表演過。包括在Calgary8月6號中作為 Gym Class Heroes的表演嘉賓。洽談了新歌 Diamonds Arent Forever。在07年11月份，他們去了澳大利亞的Gigantour，表演了3天。在08年的5/6月份返回出現在 I Killed The Prom Queen的最後巡演上。Bring Me the Horizon 在08年年初開始醖釀他們的第二張錄音專輯。4-5月份與redrik Nordstrom（ 曾擔任At The Gates, Arch Enemy, I Killed The Prom Queen and Dimmu Borgir的製作）一同在瑞典錄製新專輯。08年9月發行新專輯 Suicide Season。完全不同於Count Your Blessings這張專輯。融合了更多metalcore ，類似於 This Is What The Edge Of Your Seat Was Made For。目前正在美國巡演。也出現在08年的Warped Tour上。BMTH也將會和 Mindless Self Indulgence, Incase Of Fire, Black Tide ， Dir En Grey 出現在 Kerrang! 和 Relentless的09英國巡演上。與 Thursday, Cancer Bats, Four Year Strong 和 Pierce the Veil 在 Taste of Chaos 2009北美巡演中。

Oliver "Oli" Sykes ( Oliver Scott Sykes )出生於1986年11月20日,天蠍座。目前是Bring Me the Horizon主唱，來自英國 Sheffield。

個人經歷

5歲與父母移居到澳大利亞。過後自己移居到英國Sheffield ，在 Tapton High School 上學，是Alex Turner和Matt Helders（ Arctic Monkeys）的學弟。在上學期間以Quakebeat之名做唱片和短曲。

其他事蹟

Quakebeat 是oli在上學期間做的專輯。也被叫做"Quakesound".

Olisarus 是oli在16歲時開始的一個環繞electronic project 。 Rolo Tomassi中的James Spence 用吉他為專輯電子節奏伴奏。

Purple Curto 是一個 Deathrash 樂隊，由oli負責鼓點和主唱，由 Neil Whitely 負責吉他。Neil Whitely，oli前女友SJ Whitely的哥哥。Purple Curto 錄製過幾首歌，但只表演過一次，在oli18歲的生日會上。

Sykes近日在個人myspace上透露會做一個音樂項目“不會遠離Bring Me The Horizon的音樂，如果你不喜歡跳舞，你也不會喜歡的。”這意味着在BMTH的第二張專輯巡演過後會有另一個electronic project 出來了。

Womb 2 Da Tomb是早期Bring Me the Horizon 説唱分支。由Tom Sykes, Matt Nicholls 和 Oli Sykes組成。

Drop Dead Clothing 是Sykes成立和運行的服裝公司。
