Billionaire

Billionaire 是體操課英雄樂隊主唱崔維·麥克科伊（Travie McCoy）和布魯諾·馬爾斯演唱的歌曲，歌詞、曲譜由崔維·麥克科伊、布魯諾·馬爾斯、阿里·萊文、菲利普·勞倫斯撰寫。歌曲被收錄在崔維·麥克科伊首張錄音室專輯Lazarus 中，作為主打單曲，於2010年3月9日通過華納唱片發行。

2011年4月27日，歌曲獲得美國版權協會流行音樂獎頒發的“最佳表現歌曲”獎項 ^[1]  。

Billionaire 的歌詞來源於布魯諾·馬爾斯一次在倫敦的旅行，他的唱片公司只給了他240英鎊，叫他在倫敦度過11天。他認為這些錢根本不夠，認為這是一個大錯誤。他想成為一個“億萬富翁” ^[2]  。布魯諾·馬爾斯認為，經濟問題激勵了他寫這首歌曲。他認為如果自己是一個“億萬富翁”，生活會變的更加美好 ^[3]  。

歌曲的大概思路出來後，布魯諾·馬爾斯將它彈唱給了崔維·麥克科伊，崔維·麥克科伊很喜歡，並同意與其合作。但崔維·麥克科伊有認為成為“億萬富翁”這主題有些膚淺。他仔細的聽了幾遍後，以“如果自己有許多錢，會自私還是無私？”為主題接受了這首歌 ^[4]  。

2009年的夏天，布魯諾·馬爾斯的製作團隊The Smeezingtons完成了Billionaire的小樣帶。隨後，崔維·麥克科伊加入了音樂製作，與The Smeezingtons完成了完整版的Billionaire ^[5]  。

歌曲的和絃序列對美國樂隊Sublime1966年發行的歌曲Santeria 進行了採用 ^[6]  。

歌中帶有濃濃的雷鬼味節拍和原聲吉他，這是一首為夏日特製的歌曲。Billionaire的副歌開口清脆，遠離了喧鬧的聖歌中的唯物主義，是一首富有現代色彩的説唱歌曲。歌曲體現了崔維·麥克科伊的無私之心 ^[9]  。此外，教堂式風琴的演奏頁給説唱部分多添了一份色彩 ^[10]  。歌曲的音調為A大調，擁有每分鐘80次的節拍，布魯諾·馬爾斯的聲音控制在F#4到B5之間 ^[11]  。

Billionaire的MV由馬克·斯托巴克執導，在洛杉磯拍攝，於2010年5月6日在MtvU上首播。MV從布魯諾·馬爾斯坐在威尼斯海灘的牆上彈唱副歌開始。正歌開始後，崔維和馬爾斯出現寶馬Mini Cooper上兜風、崔維和馬爾斯坐在滑板場上演唱、崔維在街上邊走邊唱的畫面交替出現。而崔維在海灘上釋出幫助他人的場景也一一閃過，他甚至將車子送給了一個迷路的男子。晚上，崔維和馬爾斯與眾人狂歡了起來。打倒男孩的吉他手彼特·温茲在MV中進行了客串 ^[12-13]  。

2014年1月，布魯諾·馬爾斯和崔維·麥克科伊被一個叫狄米特律斯·寶潔的音樂人起訴，寶潔稱Billionaire抄襲了自己的歌曲，認為自己也擁有這首歌曲的版權。寶潔還向法庭提交了自己於2000年從美國版權協會獲得的註冊證書 ^[19]  。
