《Bells of freedom》以自由為主題，吶喊出了為自由而不屈燃燒的堅定意志，抒發了永不言敗抗爭到底的精神力量。

在《網癮戰爭》片尾裏這首歌曲充分體現了遊戲玩家對客觀環境的無奈、不滿與憤怒。主唱那沙啞而激昂的聲音完美詮釋了影片所要表達的感情，激發了觀者的共鳴。雖然這首歌曲並非Bon Jovi專門為此片而作。但人類對於自由的強烈嚮往是一致的，對黑暗現實的抗爭是共有的。與其説它們的契合是一種幸運或巧合，不如説它們都綻放了不同國度、不同時代、不同民族人們的共同的心聲。人們對自由的追求如太陽般燃燒照耀，升起於所有自由的心靈之上，沒有任何力量能夠阻擋，沒有任何組織能夠消滅，沒有任何階層能夠抗衡！
