《Battlefield》作為電影《長城》的推廣曲，詮釋了影片中無影禁軍的精神內核。整首歌曲唯美，而不俗套，“靚”式情歌解鎖新唱法，恰如其分的詮釋，令人動容，畫面感十足，彷彿在向人們娓娓道來一個古老而偉大的故事。沒有繁複的歌曲結構，《Battlefield》憑藉簡單的鋼琴拉開帷幕，人聲撐滿全場，直至尾聲強烈的鼓點與絃樂加入，與人聲呼應，又以純人聲作為結尾，彷彿“戰場”上硝煙後的寂寥，唯美而悽然。歌曲整體的恢弘大氣與張靚穎對整首歌曲情緒的把控相得益彰。張靚穎的動情開嗓，“Tell me what I'm fighting for ”，彷彿與將士們的隔空對話。 ^[1]

《Battlefield》MV以電影《長城》中無影禁軍的各種兵器道具和五軍的元素揭開序幕，張靚穎動情開嗓，柔情婉轉的歌聲娓娓道來，瞬間把人們的思緒帶回了古戰場。“Can you help me，tell me what I‘m fighting for（你可以幫我嗎？告訴我到底為什麼而堅持）”，在荒涼的古戰場之上，身後是將士們在饕餮來襲後拼死抵抗留下的滿目瘡痍。張靚穎如泣如訴的演唱彷彿與五軍將士們在隔空對話，將彼時他們堅守長城場景一幕幕呈現在眼前，體現了無影禁軍的“魂”之所在：無私、無畏、無影、無名。為了人類的安危，隨時做好犧牲的準備。而整首主題曲的高潮處，她動情高亢的歌聲一遍遍在強調着的，也正是長城所承載的中國精神——無論面對的是何種險境，都不輕言放棄。 ^[4]
