Another World

流行樂界最長壽的組合Westlife在一年長假之後，終於迴歸錄音室中，為大家展現他們的全新專輯《Where We Are》。

2009年的大半時間都躲在歐洲和美國的錄音室裏的Westlife，一直靜悄悄地製作他們有史以來最激動人心的專輯。《Where We Are》收錄了流行樂界一線製作人的作品，包括格萊美提名者Ryan Tedder（Leona Lewis、Beyonce的製作人，以下略）、Steve Robson（James Morrison，Take That）、Steve Booker（Duffy）、Louis Biancaniello和Sam Watters（Whitney Houston，Anastacia），Sam Lewis還與成員之一的Mark Feehily合寫了其中一首歌曲。

這支星光璀璨的製作團隊幫助小夥子們創作出一種全新而且現代的風格，同時也保持着Westlife經典的激昂和聲和感人歌詞。收錄了《What About Now》這首時下流行曲，這張專輯必定能激發起歌迷和流行音樂愛好者的熱情。

或許最能表達這張專輯的歌曲是由Backstreet Boys成員A.J.Mclean聯合創作的《Shadows》。一首具備了Westlife經典唱詩班的讚美詩，加入了現代節奏布魯斯大師Ryan Tedder開創的新潮軍鼓擂鼓旋律。這首歌曲為Westlife的新風格設定了基調，讓他們得以革新，站立在未來一個十年的開始。

《Where We Are》是自07年《Back Home》以來的首張新專輯，《Back Home》是Westlife第七張冠軍專輯，在排行榜前10位裏逗留了兩個月，光在英國就售出了100萬張。

他們11年來一直處於流行樂界的頂點，全球範圍內售出了超過4千5百萬張唱片。光在英國，他們就擁有9張多白金唱片，驚人的14首冠軍單曲（僅次於貓王和披頭士）。他們也獲得過無數獎項，出現在世界各地眾多雜誌封面之上。他們是有史以來4次獲得“年度最佳單曲（Record of The Year）”的藝人組合，其他頂級獎項包括兩項全英音樂大獎（Brits）和一次歐洲MTV大獎。Westlife同時還是演唱會最賣座的藝人組合，他們以這一數字，驚人的23場，在温布利體育場記錄中保持着“舉行最多演唱會的藝人組合”這一頭銜。
